Ludwig Van Halewyck is capturing the soul, passion and emotion in his poetic photography.

Born in Belgium and raised in Flanders, his journey into photography began at a very young age. Inspired by his father and their many travels across Europe, Ludwig quickly developed a deep love for documenting human emotion, cultures, wildlife and nature — themes that continue to shape his art work.

He never stopped traveling, and turned his lens towards countries like Kenya, Tanzania, India, Brazil, Argentina, and the US. His photography is a deeply personal, authentic experience and storytelling that seeks to capture the true emotion and essence of a moment, place, atmosphere and feeling.

With a background as the founder and general director of several fashion retail stores, Ludwig gained invaluable insight into the world of fashion, commerciality and creativity. This experience enriched his artistic vision and deepened his sensitivity to the world around him, elevating his approach to photography.

While his portfolio covers a broad range of genres, Ludwig's focus recurrently centers on human expression — whether in dance, fashion, events, wedding, documentary, storytelling or portraits.

As a wedding photographer, Ludwig has earned multiple lifetime awards and nominations from several international platforms as Mywed and Masters of Wedding Photography, placing him among the top wedding photographers in Belgium.

Ludwig Van Halewijck has an on-going commitment and passion to improve his photography continuously for himself and his clients.
